近年来,冷冻电镜技术推动了结构生物学的快速发展并加速了新药研发。水木未来作为亚洲第一家拥有300kV顶配冷冻电镜商用结构解析平台的公司,未来将于每年8月份举办系列国际会议。为了使冷冻电镜技术赋能新疗法的开发,2020年8月15日,水木未来将携手赛默飞举办首届冷冻电镜与药物发现创新峰会,会议邀约国内外领先学术科研机构、产业链上下游企业、产业园区、投资机构等专业人士,分享最新成果,探讨产业发展面临困境及未来发展动向,共同推动冷冻电镜技术的应用和发展。
In recent years, cryo-EM technology has driven structural biology development rapidly and accelerated new drug discovery. As the first company in Asia with a commercial structural analysis platform for 300kV top-mounted cryo-EM, Shuimu BioSciences Ltd. will host a series of international conferences in August once a year in the future. To bring the power of cryo-EM to new therapeutics developers, Shuimu BioSciences Ltd., is proud to announce that the 1st Global Innovation Institute of Cryo-EM for Drug Discovery (GCDD) Summit will be held on 8/15/2020 online. Shuimu BioSciences Ltd., cooperates with Thermo Fisher Scientific, inviting professionals from leading academic and research institutions, upstream and downstream enterprises, industrial parks, and investment institutions. Marc has a Masters degree in Geology and has been working in the field of Electron Microscopy since 1983, at University of Ghent, Philips Electron Optics, FEI Company and now in Thermo Fisher Scientific.Marc had functions from application scientist over product support and development to various commercial and management positions.

While staying in Sheffield University as a research associate, he determined a series of membrane protein structures from photosynthetic bacteria and plants using 2D crystal and single particle analysis of cryo-EM.
